?We're kind of in the same boat, but I think their boat is a little bit different than ours, (Penn State players) didn't do anything to get our sanctions. But at the same time, we can't go to a bowl game. We didn't do anything to help our football program to cheat. I'm not saying they're cheaters. We have a lot of respect for Ohio State.?

I disagree. I'd classify cheating as getting an unfair advantage to win a game, i.e. tapping into opposing teams press box communications. using illegal equipment and/or substances during game, using performance enhancing drugs, etc. Getting a tattoo (and it wasn't free, they traded their jewelery for it) was just an NCAA violation.

Even if our issues were cheating (they weren't), they're much fucking better than child rape.

The reason we are in our boat (1 year) is becase our coach did not disclose information on his players' committing possible NCAA violations.

The reason they are in their boat (4 years, plus eternal life in hell) is because their UNIVERSITY enabled one of their coaches to sodomize an undetermined (at least 10) amount of young boys in the Penn State locker room. Everyone, including the players, knew about it and did absolutely nothing.

Yes, Mr. Mouthi, very different boats.

DL needs to step up and kick McGroin's teeth in at least once every possession.

Back 7 need to play well disciplined defense and tackle....for the love of all that is holy and Frank Sinatra....just wrap up and tackle.

Brax needs a big game. Make big plays running the ball and no mistakes throwing it. I'm thinking 300 yds total offense, and 2 rushing/1 passing td.

Carlos Hyde needs to be enough of a factor that it's not all on Brax' shoulders.

Check off 3 of the above 4, and we win by single digits. Check off all 4, and we win by ten to twenty. Check off 2, and it's a toss up going into the last ten minutes. Check off 1, and we lose.

It's been a long time since I've hated any single, individual player as much as I hate Mike "Anabolic" Mauti. Maybe Bike Hart, but he wasn't defending the indefensible, just being a douchebag for the cause. Jazz Hands was more a joke than an object of loathing. You might have to go all the way back to Desmond....or even further to Bosworth.

I'd agree with just about everything ORD.
Our D-line really needs to show up. Don't get me wrong, I think they've done a hell of a job this year. Despite what happens with the Back 7, this group is what has to make the difference one way or another. Do we see a certain freshman get turned loose?

The Back 7. I'd say it's painfully obvious at this point that if we give a team a 5 yd out they are going to take it. If someone can point out a player from PSU that can beat us deep..please do..and then put Roby on him. Otherwise please, no cushions. PSU would be happy throwing quick passes all day, make McGroin hold it for that extra second.

I'll agree that Brax, and any running back that's playing needs to have a decent day. I just can't put it all on their shoulders. If we are going to win this game, in the fashion that we should win this game, our O-line must control the LOS. I have no doubt PSU will be looking to stop the run, they'd be foolish not to. I also think our OC knows they will be looking to stop the run. Our WR's and TE's must catch the ball. I don't care if it's high, low, or behind them, they have to hold onto the ball. If they do that our running game will open up.

That being said, I like us in this one. We are 2-0 against the other 5 this year. Our guys seem to play better against certain teams. This suits us well 3 of the last 4.
