tOSU Recruiting Discussion

In his presser today Coach Meyer stated that part of the large OOS focus this year was because they didn't have time to make more inroads with 2013 Ohio players. He went on to state that future Buckeye classes will be more Ohio-centric.

This quote goes hand in hand with you signature quote from Buckyle about Ohio kids having super powers. Seems Coach must think so too since he wants more Ohio kids next year.

No mention of jamal marcus? And no question mark for chris worley at OLB? He plays similar to lee, imo, and hits like a mack truck

Im also sure you meant james clark and not frank

Forgot Marcus but I really think Worley's frame and game are perfect for Star. Don't see him growing into a LB...Lee I definitely could.

Watching the video of various player's announcements I had one overwhelming thought. There are some very skilled players, some very fast ones and some bruisers but one trait really jumped off the screen with several of them: leadership. Lots of high character guys from great families. This is going to be a very special class.

The people complaining about OSU taking too many OOS kids need to first criticize the kids in Ohio who chose to go elsewhere first. There were OL, S, and WR that had chance to chose OSU at positions of need and went elsewhere.

The biggest difference between Meyer and Tress is that Tress would offer another Ohio as a replacement...Meyer will offer the best available nationally. The Ohio commitment criticism of Meyer is out of line...

Under Meyer if your an Ohio kid and have an offer you better commit early or we will offer someone from out of state and then it becomes first come...first serve.

Sorry, but I'll never criticize a kid's decision on where to go to school.
