Take a moment and appreciate this. How many teams have this kind of juice that they attract the VERY best for their spring game?

We are incredibly lucky to have Ryan Day and Corey Dennis. In the long, proud history of tOSU coach lineage we have never come close to having coaches this dialed into the passing game and since that’s what it takes today, I’d argue we have never had a coaching staff this offensively prolific. People can argue the greatest OSU QB ever but you can’t argue the greatest offensive coaching staff ever. You add Hartline in the mix? Absolutely LETHAL. Now just imagine if Frye can come close to that level with the OLine and running game.

Appreciate it folks. Not sure how it gets any better.

Methinks that Woody is NOT turning over in his grave, but smiling down from heaven at the turn tOSU game strategy has taken. Especially the only 3 wins in the 22nd century that Xichigan can boast. Back in his day, (mind as well), it was big beef and fullback up the middle, hammering the D into submission. Nowadays, it's leaner, quicker players, and immensely more athletic QBs with better arms than most of the pro players of those days (my opinion not a given). Whatever works. Woody's still right, when a pass goes up, three things can happen, and two of them are bad. But when completion %ages are in the 70+ %, then things are now skewed towards the passing game. Pretty certain that he'd be all over the D coaches though. go Bucks!

FL RB Richard Young Fong’d bama confidence of 6.

10 Reasons not to worry courtesy of Andrew Ivins (CBJ = Cedric Baxter Jr.)

1. CBJ is a potential workhorse or feature back.
2. CBJ's 6'1,215# could eventually push 230# once he gets on a college strength program.
3.Plays for Orlando Edgewater, one of Orlando's top programs. Made varsity as a freshman.
4.All-State in 2021.Ran for 1,718 yds and 26 tds. and averaged 8.3 yards per carry.
5. Quickly picks a lane and hits the LOS with a full head of steam.Uses swift little cuts to elude defenders.
6. Capable of breaking multiple arm tackles and seems to always be falling forward.
7.Can get to the edge and win his fair share of foot races.
8. Could thrive on swing passes and make a difference in the screen game.
9. Has a chance to be an impact player for a College Football Playoff contender.
10. CBJ has NFL upside.

Maybe Baxter will be the choice? Or conversely, maybe OSU will be Baxter's choice?

Baxter is a 2023 recruit. This is the 2024 thread.

Not his fault. I originally posted in the wrong thread even after double checking that it was the 23 thread somehow. I’ve since deleted it but apparently not before Rick responded. So my bad. And Rick thanks for not jumping on my head for posting in the wrong thread by mistake.

All good! Hopefully nobody thinks I was jumping on him for being in the wrong thread. I was 2nd guessing and had to verify that Baxter was indeed a ‘23 kid.

I don’t think we need to chase in state DL for the class of 2024 cause of ttun…if he’s worthy of an offer he will get one

I think I worded it wrong, I didn't mean for OSU to chase Rudolph because of scUM. But more because I don't want them to get a lead in anyway in his recruitment(no matter how early it is)

Kinda still sounds like you’re saying the same thing to me but admittedly I’ve been up all night so may be wrong. I stand by that he will get an offer if he’s worthy of an offer, and would likely be after a few camps if he does
