PSU; gave up 2 runs for 129 yards; remaining 39 runs for 101 yards
Kansas; gave up 1 run for 37 yards; remaining 29 runs for 27 yards
MSU; gave up 3 runs for 56 yards; remaining 34 runs for 66 yards
Indiana; gave up 3 runs for 85 yards; remaining 37 runs for 125 yards

Not saying they're a powerhouse.. but for Rutgers.. these are pretty good
they give up big plays... but they are also pesky, fast and gang tackle

Rutgers Defense gives up 5 YPC on the season guys

We are far enough into the season where you can stop excluding certain plays or teams or what have you. The averages discount everything and 5 yards a carry isn't a good run defense.

Now if you want to see real bad, look at their pass defense numbers.

I think their offense can do some things to the OSU defense and the Rutgers return game vs OSU kick coverage is a strength on strength matchup to watch. The Rutgers defense however, is just bad.

I've watched every game... so I do know this team... and basically giving you a novice's scouting report

my whole point is... the AVG is grossly misleading... they give up big runs... they play a high risk defense.. but the majority of the time, they're very good against the run
will they give up BIG runs to Zeke... yep but they'll be better than you think
this SHOULD be a game for big yards in the air... these DBs can be beaten.. they're freshmen...

I was very surprised to see how they pretty much shut MSU running down...
I was surprised to see MSU gained a hundred yards because it 'seemed' every run went for 1 yard...
IMO they outplayed MSU

Anyone that is even attempting to say I'm implying Rutgers will make it a game can blow it out your ass...

MSU has a true freshman running the ball. We got a tank wearing 15

I'm with Jax, at this point averages are showing what a team is normally going to put forth. 5 ypc isn't some fluke of 10 plays over the year that's just who they are.

Same could be said for every team we've played so far. A conference road game at night should not be taken lightly. That said, I'm not too concerned. I'd take the Bucks by 17
