Game Thread tOSU vs. Minnesota, Sat 11/7 @ 8pm ET, ABC

No kidding. The team was way better last year when they beat a crappy MN team by 7.
Last year you could easily blame turnovers and horrible weather. Ohio State turned the ball over what, 3 or 4 times? And they still rolled up almost 500 yards of total offense and 31 against a much better Minnesota team. Beck looks like he has no damn clue what to do when Cardale is in the game. It's frustrating to watch.

They also had a B1G COTY at the helm this time last year.

As happy as I am about this win, I don't think this team repeats with Beck at the helm even with JT. His play calling tonight was absolutely abysmal. It's going to get ugly if he has to outscheme say, Kirby Smart.
This is pretty dumb, but I had the following thought while I watched the FSU/Clemson game.

Clemson's playcaller is legit. Very creative. I wished we had somebody like that. Then I realized we did. Then I realized, with all the jobs opening up this year, next year is going to be WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE open. Think about it. Every coordinator that is really good is going to get a head coaching gig somewhere. We lost our guy this year, everybody else is going to lose their guy after this year. Shit's going to be crazy in 2016.

You just solved ur problem with Beck... he doesn't have any clue what to do with CJ. NO one knows what to do with cardale as QB. He's simply not built for the offense that we want to run.

Looking back on last year I have no idea how CJ was so damn clutch. It's even more impressive when you compare just how awful we look this year.

IMO last year CJ had the full support of the team because the team had no choice. This year there's a choice and their choice is clear.

The last 3 games when Cardale played last season we were going deep a lot more than we are now. We had Devin Smith for that. This year no Devin and less deep throws. Really takes away Cardales best ability. With JT back next weekend hopefully the offense can pick back up and Braxton is ok but I'm expecting at least a week out. Ugly win but it's better than being a horned frog.

CJ has under thrown more deep balls than he has hit this year. I don't get the "deep ball" as being his big asset. He has not been good at all this year on deep balls.
