Game Thread tOSU vs. Sparty, Sat 11/21, 3:30pm ET, ABC

So I know if it was up to this forum that Beck would probably have been gone 5 games ago but what does everyone think the odds are he will be replaced when the season ends in reality?

Urban said he was not content with the play calling post game but tried to deflect it from Beck a bit, but I'd give 10 to 1 odds that Beck will not be back. Urban seems to be frustrated also in these postgames about play calling also.

I think we're in trouble at Offensive Coordinator. I don't think Warriner can handle O-line and offensive coordinator duties simultaneously and I don't know what Beck brings to the offense. Play selection aside, we have, too many times, been slow getting the play call in and/or had to call a timeout on offense during the course of a drive due to miscommunication or indecisiveness. When everything is clicking, the actual play selection has been atrocious. I don't know what they do with Beck/Warriner. Obviously Warriner is a great O-line coach, but what value does Beck add to our offense? That question needs to be answered.

Just to clarify I agree msu out played us and the both out performed out lines but that still doesn't excuse the play calling and zeke is right by saying the play calling is what puts you in a position to be successful. Would they have ran all those yards if we loaded the box? Would they have bottled us up if we kept telegraphing the play?

I just hope zeke runs all over mich.

What I am saying is that coaches tend to frown on being called out in the media by players. We'll see what happens, but I guarantee urban gets asked about it
When players talk like this after the game they're frustrated more than just one game. Think any player calls Tom Herman out after a bad game? No because he was good for the other 50 games. To me it says the players are fed up with how predictable and awful the play calling has been and theyve just had enough

The issue is the play calling travels with us to AA. Not sure what will happen next week... we can win obviously but right now I don't think we win
