Game Thread tOSU vs. Western M*ch*g*n, Sep 26 2015 @ 3:30 ET, ABC/ESPN2

Western M------- gave MSU's defense lots of trouble and held them to 37 points (I know that is alot) while scoring 24 on them. It will be nice to see how we fare against them and use transitive assumptions and nonsensical logic to theoretically "outperform" sparty in this one... looking to win by no less than 3 scores.

WMU's offense accounted for 383 total yards and 17 points. The other 7 was a 100 yard KO return.

Also, if you look at the drive chart:

MSU did pretty much whatever they wanted in the competitive phase of the game (Q1-Q3)

I fully expect OSU to iron out all the misfires that have been throwing them off offensively and completely skull fuck this WMU team while their assistant coach rides a stationary bike and runs his cockholster.

this times a billion
If we just don't turn the ball over there's not one team that will beat us. NOT. ONE.

Our defense is filthy and if not for the turnovers you're talking about at the most 10-14 points allowed in three games. We could literally continue to be a mess on offense and we'd still be too much for the rest of the B1G to handle but the thing is this offense has too many weapons to be held down forever. Sooner or late the light bulb will come on and when it does I'm not sure how productive we will be but teams are going to have to score 35-42 a game to keep pace and against this defense I just don't see that happening

I'm going to be honest. I don't care how many points this team scores in this game. I just want to see some semblance of offensive cohesion and consistency.

Even if that means a 24-10 final, I'll take it... as long as it's turnover free and the wealth is spread.
I know what you're saying, but 24 points against wmu at home is absolutely horrible. They SHOULD be able to score 50. I'd be happy with 40. 30 would be considered poor. This isn't some great team. If anything their offense is decent, but they're not known for being some great defensive team from the MAC.

Edit: here's a Stat line for you. They lost to Georgia Southern week 2 (yes, really). Georgia Southern had 420 yards. Funniest part about it is that they had 7 yards passing! They put up over 400 yards rushing! Scored 43 points. If osu scores 24 points, I'll officially move from "they'll get it squared away eventually" to "holy shit, this could be bad."

I'm looking for the defense to continue what they've done all year force a few turnovers and the offense to get back into full swing. I'll take 35-3 or 35-10 as long as there is improvement in the 3rd down conversions and the turnovers on offense. Those are the two main priorities for this weekend IMO
