Send Delta to drought suffering New Mexico, please.

wish i could.

I really and truly feel for the people is SW Louisiana. I couldn’t imagine getting Tagged by a 4 then a 3 in basically the same damn spot a month and a half apart.

but for purely selfish reasons i need that storm to trend that way to keep my surge waters potential down.

and really and truly need this season to just freaking stop.

tomorrow makes the 9th day in 2 months that we miss with no pay because of this shit.
in a year where my salary was CLIPPED then clipped again.

Super no fun. Sorry to hear that.

yeah, 2020 has been a crap year all the way around.

so i tend to look at bright side.
had more time to cook/drink than normal
got a new truck (wasn’t ready for that, but i got it).

and now 5 different times this season the center line of the projected track has passed directly over my hometown at one time or another of a storm’s life span.

if current projections holds, this will be the first one that gives me so much as a drop of rain from it.
Winds will be close. Laura peaked at around 35 mph here.
We may get into the low/mid 40mph range tomorrow night.

official landfall as a Cat 2 at Creole, LA.

centerline 13 miles east of where center of Laura hit 44 days prior.

RIP Grand Chenier, LA.
took the highest surge in Laura and was i. eastern eye wall 100+mph winds for couple hours of Delta.

that is a SMALL town and not sure what going to be left of it.
