You mean they haven't been dominating the B10 since then?

They were so young, they had a great coach, they were M*ch*gan men....what the hell happened?
They weren't that good, they had a gimmicky coach and they were to pussified for the Big-10. Just like football.

GBW $ - Will Michigan fans start chanting "NIT" at Sparty*

A) Hilarious arrogance given their ongoing chances of heading there as well

B) Ironic considering they keep talking like beating sparty and one BTT opponent makes them a lock for the tourney.

Given this arrogance (which is hardly surprising, given the fan base we're talking about), I would love nothing more than to see Sparty go into AA and put a dagger through UM's lingering tournament hopes.

As an aside, this year's UM team is living proof that there are too many teams invited to the NCAA tournament. Think about it--a bad team that's played its way back onto the bubble by going 2-2 in its last four, with those two wins being very close games against horrible opponents.

there's been 60+ teams in the tourny since 1985. I think they know what their doing.

But that's a great idea. Let's revamp THE best tournament in college athletics right now because of the possibility of UM making it in as a bubble team. The horror of it all

draw up your letter to the NCAA. I'll proof read it for you.

News flash: 3 extra spots were added for the first time this year. And, according to Joe Lunardi, UM is one of those last three in. So, I believe that a terrible UM team making it in is absolutely relevant to the timely question of whether there are too many teams in the NCAA tournament (i.e., whether the field should have been expanded), no?
