Cross another one off, I guess.

Gardner
(I just intercepted him in the Chipotle parking lot at lunch)
O'Korn (O'Bauserman)
Speight (now failing at UCLA!)
Peters (Luck 2.0)
Patterson (Mississippi Jesus)
McCaffrey

What do you have against Shane Morris?

So, the Ministry of Excuses posted an article about their tire fire of an OL; more particularly, their dire situation at both Tackle spots. In the summary, we find this little tidbit:

Does not compute. All spring/summer we've been hearing that Mississippi Jesus was going to finally give them the playmaker at QB that would allow them to reach their full offensive potential under the Harbrau. Now they're already looking ahead to Dylan McCaffrey? After one game?

Cross another one off, I guess.

Patterson (Mississippi Jesus)
McCaffrey

That's a long list of failed saviors over the last decade.

Edit- Re-reading, I think they're actually talking about a FR tackle. But still, a lot of people on their boards have been questioning Patterson and praising McCaffrey after game one.

Not a savior by any means but gotta give honorable LOLs to the man who put up one of the greatest stat lines ever witnessed.

You forgot Nick Sheridan. How can anyone forget Nick fucking Sheridan?

In fairness to the DFBIA, I don't recall anybody ever viewing him as anything other than a blight on the QB position.

1) Don't ever under estimate the DFBIA

No matter how you slice it, we are better off at QB this year than last. Both are freshman are a perfect fit for the system and, like him or not, Sheridan will be better than he was last year simply for the experience and added strength. He's a good option to have as a backup in a pinch and a veteran who can help guide the young guys. Obviously he's not the full time answer we're looking for, but I'm glad to have him in the role he's in.

2) some more pure comedy gold from the comment section:

Sure it matters this year but when Devin Gardner comes in next year there isnt going to be any question as to who is going to be the quarterback!!!
