I remember when the phrase "running up the score" was reserved for MAC teams and directional schools. The fact that we are even considering it for Michigan (and rightly so) shows how far that program has fallen.

Some fans seeing what tsun really isnt doesnt worry me. If their admin ever wise up it could be an issue. But John bacon is putting out propaganda like he's the Iraqi minister of information. As long as we see books about how tsun does things right and everyone else cheats and field teams of illiterates theres nothing to fear.

Eventually there's a reckoning between those viewpoints and the superposition will either collapse into revitalizing (ie 1969) or accepting they're Illinois.
Other than that, history has shown their only chance for a rebound is WWIII.

"its not technically impossible. if PSU loses to minnesota and then indiana back to back, then beats osu and osu in turn loses to michigan, then UM would get the bid as the big ten east champion to indianapolis i believe. but the probability of that seems rather low."

In the scummer's scenario above, wouldn't Penn State got the nod over scUM by virtue of their head to head win? All three would 2 losses but the pedsters would have wins over scUM and OSU.
