Perhaps you're too young to remember the OSU 80's.

Tennessee is 28-34 over the last 5 years, with 3 straight losing seasons.

tOSU in the '80s wasn't nearly that bad, and the Buckeyes have not had 2 striaght losing seasons since 1922-23-24. That's the longest stretch of any Division 1A/FBS team without back-to-back losing seasons. Tennessee actually owned that streak until the 2011 season.

From 1980-1986 we went 9-3 for six straight years followed by a 10-3 year...aside from the 4-6-1 record in Cooper's first year (1988), we were consistently "decent". Conversely, Tennessee has had two good years (9-4, 10-4) in the last eight, including five losing seasons.

I live in Knoxville and attended UT my first two years of college. That being said, I hate UT. I really hate the fanbase. I will say this though, Butch Jones is putting together an impressive recruiting class. Some of that is timing because of a lot of legacy kids this year but he has done a lot of things right and as a result recruits are buying in and the fanbase is obnoxiously excited. Obviously he hasn't coached a single down and the season could go a long way in crushing this momentum but right now people around here are on cloud nine. Let me be the first to say I hope they fall flat on their faces.

Back to the uniforms....I think an all gray uniform for OSU would be badass. Especially since it is actually one of our colors. I'm a big fan of the gray unis the bball team wears. All grey unis with a flat matte helmet might look really good.

Good ol' "9-3 Earl". Going 9 -3 too many times can get you fired at Ohio State.
