Urban F. Meyer (Former OSU, CFB and NFL coach)

Yeah. OK, well, uh, we found, uh, this mouse in a bottle of YOUR BEER, eh. Like, we was at a party and, uh, a friend of ours - a COP - had some, and HE PUKED. And he said, uh, come here and get free beer or, uh, he'll press charges.
My brother and I used to talk about how great it would be to die in a vat of beer and now he's not here and this SUCKS!

Four of the five GAs in that picture became head football coaches at some level.

From left to right: Urban Meyer, Mark Barren (Columbus Academy, 2003 Div V state champs), John Cervino (Heidelberg, Western Connecticut), Fred Buskey (pursued education), and John Hussey (Otterbein).

Earle churned out head coaches like Larry Johnson does NFL linemen.

Well, while I certainly would welcome another year or more of corch prowling the sidelines, I'll still take the win.... especially in that fashion. Lay waste to those rat bastards, ride off into the sunset undefeated. A Buckeye fairy tale.

Yup... TSUN and Hairball drove Urban into retirement... just not exactly the way they expected the story to read.

7-0

Still sinking in... but as I said the other day, when RD makes us all forget about Urban and has a long successful run here... it will all be OK. Thus far, and yes, it's easy to type these words now because they've not played a game under Ryan since he's taken over officially, it looks like my memory span may be shorter than I anticipated.

I think he will coach again one day and it’ll be at Ohio State - not because Ryan Day failed or anything. Quite the opposite. I think Coach Day will be such a huge success that he will end up coaching in the NFL. And Urban will return to the sidelines then.

aka the Bill Snyder approach
