just to make sure some dumbasses get it....i played for a top 10 1-a team.....

and guess what....

we were presented a list of "suggested classes" to take by our academic advisors...in season the classes were always fluff....and for reason.....

its really nothing different than some regular college kid that has to take a couple of fluff classes for a quarter so he can work a full-time job...

Sports Classes

Jeez, guys, 2 credit hours. If memory serves, you need to carry 12 hours to be considered full time. That gives these kids 2 hours of "slack." Compared to the hours and hours of practice, road games, etc., it is easier to take 15 hours of Junior level Chemical Engineering.

BTW, my Junior year, I took a 1-hour Golf class. It was great. Got to go to the range and hit all the balls I wanted for free! It also forced me to learn all the rules (do you know all of 'em?)

My Senior year, I took a hockey class. That was fun, except it was Friday at 7:30 am. Sometimes tough to drag my arse out of bed.

Oh yeah, the rest of my 220+ hours were devoted to more mundane stuff like Physics, Calc., Chemisty, and Chemical Engineering.
