I feel your pain, Mr I. My wife got her purse stolen last year. OUT OF A CHURCH CHOIR LOFT. The cops and the insurance company wrote it off, the dude only charged $40 on my wife's cards. But to replace our locks (keys stolen), cell phone, gift cards, etc. etc cost us a bundle. And they even had a picture of the shithead taken at WalMart. Still pissed.

Since the card company didn't hold us responsible for the charges, they became "the victim". And they weren't going to waste their time on $40. The cops didn't lift a finger either. I can't exactly blame them, but it does piss me off. I lost close to $500 when all was said and done.

Edit: The shithead also stole my wife's coat. He couldn't exactly walk out of a church with a purse, right? Her coat covered it up. Another $100 down the fucking drain.
