West Virginia/JUCO/C.W. Post/Kean RB Jason Gwaltney (official thread)

Just so you guys know, 21, Mili and I are going to be closely monitoring this stuff. Any breaking of the rules will be dealt with severely, as we aren't going to have time to deal with a bunch of petty BS. Anyone that pushes this issue will take a week's vacation from BP. If you aren't familiar with the rules, read them, they're stuck on the main recruiting page.

me neither, and i think what's just as essential is having 43 different people offer up 3-5 paragraphs of why OSU is the best choice for Jason, including tradition, heisman trophy winning tailbacks, 105K screaming fans, etc.......because i'm sure he will base his decision on what's said about OSU on these boards, and i'm sure the coaches forgot to mention these things to him

I think these guys have done a decent job in this thread thus far today...now in about 20 minutes we may have a meltdown, but so far so good.

Guys...no matter what the decision...please post with class and follow the forum rules.

I believe he has chosen to become a Buckeye based on this qoute. Didn't he once said that he will inform the coaching staff a week prior to his final decision? If he has eliminated OSU, then why would JT call and "see what was going on"??? I believe he already told JT he will be a Buckeye! Notice Petey did not call...may be he already know that Jason is not going there. By the way, the two hats are WVU and OSU. He will pull out the WVU first and say that was his first choice. Then he will pull out the OSU hat and say "My family and I have decided to go with OSU because that is where I feel most comfortable with my education and my football career."...Not facts, just hoping and trying to make sense of something that might not ever make sense;-)

Well....

No one will ever accuse buckeye1 of not being bold in his predictions...

Buckeye1,

The only problem with that theory is that if in fact he did tell all the coaches a week ago his decision, then why would wstripes still be saying within the last week that Gwaltney is USC-bound.

I believe that osugrad can attest to the fact that wstripes is directly connected with USC's coaching staff, and would know, if that was the case.

Before this young man annouces his decision, people viewing and posting on this thread should keep in mind that no matter where he goes, he's still a very talented, and from all accounts and interviews, an intelligent and respectable person.

Yes, the late annoucement brings with it some drama and an undue amount of attention. Whether or not he comes to OSU, he's still a good kid and he will still be a tremendous asset to his school of choice. Also, whether or not he comes to OSU, we still have a very fine class of highly talented kids as well, and this one committment does not make or break this class.

So, as our buddy Antosu used to say, BE EASY!

Phew, glad that we're not gonna be facing this guy in '08.

Holy crap, who would have thought Carroll would fail to bring in Wells, Stewart, JG and one or two other guys? This is unreal...

Hopefully PC can convince Bush/White to stick around in 06.
