What kind of car do you drive?

I though it was a minivan for which they decided to save money on roof material.

I will admit to skimming, but the article went on to describe a bronco (new) based vehicle with a bed... Then, the guy vets ticked its not a van because.he already thought of it. This is like a bad focus wagon with an open hatch.

If one googled for utes and the following... There is an one off bmw M3 (or was) that the Motorsport division built as their shop parts mule.

I wasn’t serious. Was just cracking on the appearance of the thing.

No, I know. But I would like to see the bronco one. Jerks.

Anyway... Die Valkyr-Ute

So on March 14 I picked up a new ride. Flew from Chicago to Memphis the day before the world shut down for C19. After the paperwork was done I promptly drove the car home. I only had good driving weather for two or two and a half hours of the drive before rain and eventually freezing rain in IL on summer tires nonetheless.

Anyhow, a while back I started watching a channel on YouTube called VINWiki. It was started by a guy who held, at one time, the Cannonball Run record. As I was driving home to Chicagoland I thought that the new ride would likely be capable of putting up a respectable time in the Cannonball.

Sure enough... 25 hours and 39 minutes with an average rate of speed of 110 MPH over 2800 miles.

If you’re into that sort of thing.

A 2012 Honda CRV with a little over 20,000 miles.

Well, my battery died last night and it pissed me off. I'm not pissed off that my original battery lasted over 8 years, I'm pissed off because it didn't die at home where I have a Harbor Freight portable battery to jump start my car. I called my daughter to come and jump start me.

Here's the purpose of my post: She had a new hybrid RAV 4 and it wasn't apparent where here battery terminals were. She had to get a video on her cell phone so I could determine where to attach my jumper cables to her car battery, etc. If you are "old school" and get a jump when your battery dies (or to jump start a friend) as opposed to just calling AAA and have a hybrid; (if you don't know) you might want familiarize yourself and/or anyone else (like your wife, son, or daughter) that might drive your car as to where the battery connections are. Trust me on this, anyone not familiar with a hybrid won't find the connection on their own without a manual or video, etc.

It pretty much looked like this (picture below), do you see a battery (or the battery terminals) in there?

It probably doesn't make sense to put it in the trunk in a Rav4, but that's where I would look first (if its under the rug back there or something) and there are probably charging ports somewhere for the 12v system

That said, I would call AAA not a Hybrid owner... the 12v systems in a Hybrid vs the 12v system in say, an F-150 have very different specs.
