what was your 40 time when you played football??

I ran a 4.56 during my freshman year. But at the OSU football camp after running (2) 20-yard shuttle timings, the first being a 4.49, the second being a 4.92. But on the second shuttle attempt I tweaked/pulled something in my leg, and that def. made a big difference in my 40, my best attempt was a 5.62.

Wow, you're probably the fastest hot dog runner in the City League!!

I bet I'm faster than Bernie Kosar. Well, I'm probably not, but he is the slowest professional athlete I can think of.

Have you ever seen Sean Casey try to steal a base or a stretch a single into a double? To hell with the Kentucky Derby. There is your fastest two minutes in sports.

I can't remember when or who it was, but they showed a tape of this pro baseball player, fat player(may have been on the FSN Top-10 Sports Countdown Show). Well they timed how long it took him after he hit the ball to get from home to first base, total time was like 13 seconds. I believe it was a player from the 80's.

I don't remember seeing that, but I remember reading that Bob Uecker got thrown out at home trying to score from second on a triple. It was in his autobiography, "Catcher in the Wry", which was definitely a bit off-the-wall, so that comment may have been in jest. However, I wouldn't be surprised if he was serious, either.

I call BULLSHIT!!

Maybe on a home run trot.

That's 4.72 mph. No way.

I did the math, that equates to a 17.3 sec. 40 yd. dash.

Get your shit straight City Leaguer!!

13 seconds to first? Nope. Nobody would desecrate the game that way. We give our RF/LF 11 seconds to get on/off the field between innings.

6.8 seconds is your average MLB 60-time. That is home to 2nd base.

Maybe they were talking about how long it took the guy to get a sandwich during the 7th inning stretch. :roll1:
