what was your 40 time when you played football??

I ran in the 4.8 range. You know whats kind of funny, are people who don't really follow football but yet watch some games (you know those people) and when a commentator says so and so runs a 4.7 or 4.65 and some think that is slow. Yes, it all depends on the size and position the player is at but I think most people on here are understanding where I'm coming from.

I ran a 4.56 during my freshman year. But at the OSU football camp after running (2) 20-yard shuttle timings, the first being a 4.49, the second being a 4.92. But on the second shuttle attempt I tweaked/pulled something in my leg, and that def. made a big difference in my 40, my best attempt was a 5.62.

Now with not being able to play this year, I'm a little out of shape. But I'm going to be working out all year, and hopefully get my time back up(or maybe I should say down).

Troy Smith would so toast you in the shuttle.

You know what, he would probably toast you too.

So would Ted Ginn.

And Santonio Holmes.

And Gonzy.

But you know what, we could probably all toast Maurice Clarett.

No shit

I can say that just about anybody's time, are not exactly right on. the only way to get a true, exact 40 time is using electronic timing. This is what they use at the NFL Combine, and it makes a significant difference in times. The only problem with the electronic timing is that its not cheap to do, and most places don't have the resources to have it/use it.
