WK's predecessor did well in the drafts. Anything had to be an improvement after Marge gutted the scouting system in the 90s. It's taken years to recover from that.

To follow up on my advocating trading Arroyo and Harang.

Look at the Pitcher Abuse Points standings sometime. They are 2 of the top 3 on any given day. It means that Narron is essentially Dusty Baker Jr and will thrash their arms before long if he hasn't already.

A foreward thinking GM sees this, knows he needs to get more help about the same age as Votto, Baily etc and pulls off the deals this summer that start to turn this franchise around in a couple of years.

Thats what a good GM would do imo, we'll see what WK does.
