Minne getting better

Mason is slowly building his program. I love teams that line up and try to run it down your throat. I think it is a lost art. PSU and Michigan will test this offense, but if the Iowa game is a good indication, OSU will probably shut them down.

I agree with earlier posts, Minnesota needs to schedule tougher non-conference opponents. I think it would lend credibility to the program.

they have three players off of brookhaven's state championship team from last year, i don't know why osu didn't recruit one of those guys



on another note one of the coaches was talking the other day i was shocked to find out that 4 starters(yes thats four players) from 'haven's championship team have been "relocated" to the Circleville Juvenile Correctional Facilty, he then went on to say that he wasn't sursprised at all



i can happily say that none of our players at beechcroft have been "relocated" that i know of

Minny is more like a poor mans K-State. They pad the record and get everyone all excited by crushing creampuffs in September only to be exposed for the frauds they are by the big boys in October.

K-State got ovet the next hump, conference play, for a while but it remains to be seen if Minny can ever do it. Much like Wisconsin its all about match ups for them based on their style. If they can line up and run it down your throat they can hang with anyone, just ask Alabama.

However when they run into the type of teams like OSU and even PSU this year who simply cannot be dominated by a one dimensional run offense, then it can get ugly quick. I'd lay money scUM rips them a new ass this year as well, they never seem to recover mentally after the first beatdown they get.
