Which team are you hoping gets Oden?

Where do you hope Oden goes?

A little off topic but, what the hell is that Blazers logo supposed to be? I'm not usually into the aesthetics of uniforms or equipment but that logo bothers me for some reason. Is it supposed to be some kind of plow or what? Not a dig, I really want to know.

In any event Greg will most likely end up in Portland and the reason he would go elsewhere after 5 years is to play with Conley since Mike's probably not getting past Atlanta at #3. I could actually see both of them going to the Pacers in 5 years which would suck for the Cavs. Imagine a Lebron James, Daniel Gibson, Greg Oden and Mike Conley starting unit. I could be the 5th man on that squad and we'd dominate.:chompy:

It's supposed to represent the Oregon trail that the pioneers followed. At least that's what I was told when I was younger.

Thanks. Do people in Portland like the logo or would they prefer something more flashy like most uniforms are becoming these days. I haven't been to that part of the country but most people from there seem pretty laid back to me. If they overhauled their "look" I might be more inclined to follow more closely. I know that sounds pretty shallow but I cant get over the images of Clyde Drexler in that uniform from the 80's. I'm not much for tradition in the NBA since teams are one big merry-go-round from one season to the next these days. I also love the Cavs new look jerseys so change isnt always bad.

That's why I like them. They're one of the few pro sports unis that have that classic old school look. They've hardly changed over the years. I hear ya' about the tradition though. There isn't much in pro sports.

I decided to look back and see if I was wrong. While they've been consistently the same for the last 20-25 years or so, they originally started out with these. Don't know why I didn't remember these since I've seen them before.
