I can't believe this. I feel like sticking my head in boiling water. Or playing in a hornet's next. Anything that's more pleasureable than this. For the love of God, Danny Ainge needs to take a risk and make some trades. The last thing we need is anohter young pup. Send the pick, Green, and Gomes to Indiana for O'Neal. At this point, how much lower can we go anyway?

I guess Aldridge started coming on strong for Portland last year, so they have an interesting situation now. Aldridge/Oden/Randolph makes for a loaded 4/5 combo on the floor at all times.

Oden, in all honesty, will never have the passing skills or perimeter shooting ability of Sabonis. Don't dis the legend of the Soviet Bloc!

EDIT: I just looked at Portland's roster and see that they already have Magloire, Pryzbilla, and LaFrentz on the bench. They are not only going to be able to add Oden, but they will be able to make a nice trade for another piece, as well.

If you're going to trash Portland centers, Sabonis is a particularly poor choice. He and Walton were obviously the best of the bunch.

My disappointment is that I will have to stay up till 1 am to see Greg play his rookie season games on TNT. :(

Sonics to C-bus rumor?

There was a rumor circulating a while back about Columbus being a possibility for a new home for the Sonics.

.....WIth the #2 pick the Columbus Sonics select ... Greg Oden.....

That is the only scenario where I would hope that Durant was selected ahead of Greg
