Who is your least favorite Buckeye of all time (not counting MoC)?

BITB, "No, the topic was crap. That's the point of the majority of posts in the thread"

Agreed. Maybe I should have stated my thoughts more precisely. Here goes. A crappy thread should be left alone to die. Taking Tibor (or any other poster) to task for crappy threads should be done on another forum (Open Discussion or Romper Room).

Keeping this thread going for the purpose of taking Tibor to the woodshed just gives a poor topic more life than it deserves. Lest anyone think otherwise, I'm as guilty of this as anyone else. Maybe a good topic for the Open Discussion board would be "Taking Tibor75 to the Woodshed". Then we can all post our Tibor aggrevations in one central location (Ha, I'm only half joking).

1. In my opinion he is a hypocrite:

1990 - Played football his freshman year

1991 - An assistant coach wants me to ship classes to come to football practice. I'm just here for the education. I'm majoring in premed. I'm not playing football with that assistant coach here. Smith is given a track scholarship to stay in school and continue his education.

1992 - The assistant coach is now gone so Smith plays football again. And the guy that is just here for his education (and who does not have the grades for medical school) opts for the NFL draft with two years of college eligibility remaining.

2. Doesn't believe that sometimes it is better to just shut up when you don't know all the facts:

"Absolutely I think that (Clarett getting paid by boosters) happened," he said. "I believe that it's happened. But there's a difference between fans providing it or members of the university. There's a huge distinction. I don't believe members of the university provided for him."

How about...

Reflecting on some of the character issues that Buckeye players may or may not have had, please remember they were all kids when they attended OSU. We all probably did some pretty dumb stuff back in the day and with the media focused on you all the time, it's a pretty tough road.

I'm really impressed how well the team members conduct themselves these days. We really have minimal problems and Tressel seems to deal with handing down discipline very well. I sure wish I had someone with as much wisdom in my life at that time.

Thanks for doing a great job, JT and go bucks. Stay positive people.

My opinion is that this thread should be deleted!

If I recall correctly one of the major staples of this website is that we do not attack or bash Buckeye players. Now, that may only consist of current players but we also say "Once a Buckeye, Always a Buckeye" dont we.

I'd rather not see this thread again, even though my posting this here keeps it going.

I'd definitely vote for the mods to dismiss this crap.

This thread was from the early days of BP, and it won't be deleted because it's part of the history of the site.

Some of what was posted back then wouldn't be allowed now without receiving an infraction for bashing, but we're not going to retroactively enforce something like that.

There are differing views on the topic - for those who'd rather it went away, don't post in the thread and let it drop and be forgotten again. Those that choose to post should be aware that bashing will not be tolerated.

Here's part of the last post in this thread before it was resurrected:

A memorial to something that never happened?

What do you mean "never happened"? You are posting in it.

Now, as for the supposed "six million Jews" who were called in advance and told not to come to work during WW II - that is a different story.

Least Fave

It must be for me Nick Buonamici (sp) I thought he was a total thug and a very average football player.

My fave because he was so personable with the kids at church when he came was Jerry Rudzinski (sp):osu:

FWIW, Robert was right about this. Clarrett was on the take and tOSU wasn't in on it.
