I always like the guy that emerges out of nowhere to be an important cog. I love the underdog...so I'll have to wait til the season starts to tell you who's my favorite.

But if I had to pick now, I'd say any one of the seniors who gave up the cash to stay one more year at The Ohio State University! Here's hoping it works out for these guys as well as it did for Mike Doss!

My favorite Buckeye is usually someone who shines despite being an unknown or a backup. This year I will pick a tagteam of Ray Small and Brandon Saine. They both are known, but are not starters per se.

Also, who will be the backup Qb?
