Winter Workouts Reports

Smith also has Henton by fours years in age and in time under the OSU S&C program. You can rest assured than if/when Henton takes over as the starter he'll be physically prepared for the punishment of the schedule.

Thank you. yea if JT puts him out there, he'll be ready

Got a buddy on the team who said its between henton & boeckman.. reading through here it looks like boeckman is the one stepping up to lead which is a huge + in terms of earning that job

Guy's, by no means was I implying that I think Henton will not be a great QB at OSU. I'm just simply stating that it's premature to expect him to step in and perform like Troy Smith, he has some growing yet to do, mentally and physically.

Thanks for all of the updates, guys. Next season is still way too far away, and it's nice to get a little "fix". :oh:

Any word on who is stepping up and leading different units, other than Boeckman? I always liked Downing's fire, and felt that he brought a lot to the line in terms of emotional leadership. Are there any more TJ's lurking about?

First of all, thanks a bunch for posting this stuff grad.

It's very, very nice to know that Boone, is coming into a good leadership role, even better to see Person and Jamario starting to live up to their potential. But, on the other hand it sucks that Rehring isn't looking too impressive.

Definitely good to hear that Jamario is at least looking good in practice. Just hope it will translate onto the field this season. I guess it's natural that Dionte is looking like the leader as far as ball carriers are concerned (maturity) but I wouldn't be telling the truth if I said that I was disappointed no seeing Beanie's name in there somewhere even as a sophomore. He's going to be carrying quite the load...
