Game Thread Wisconsin at tOSU, Sep 28th, 8 ET, ABC/ESPN/ESPN2

As I mentioned after the first quarter. Go to nickel and walk up the Star. Have to take Perry out he's awful in pass coverage. Keep Grant and Shazier in obviously to stop the run. Get Bosa in a little bit to collapse the pocket and keep legs fresh. Spence is wrecking their Oline.

Offense just keep doing what you are doing. Oline has to notice the stunts and get feet ready.

Perry has stood out a number of times for the wrong reasons. I don't have enough of a LB eye to decide whether he's getting lost, biting, or just doesn't have the wheels to break out when he needs to.

Really hope he starts to pull it together. Ideally sometime between now and the start of the second half.

ohio state will not win a national championship until they can get a championship level defense back. Right now, this defensive can't stop anyone but Florida A&M. Meyer needs to start finding some studs on D.

Roby may be hampered with his rib injury, which could be understandable. Wisconsin is one of the tops in the nation at rushing the ball and they've been held to 50 yards, which is exactly what OSU was gameplanning for. Wisconsin is just taking what OSU gave them and OSU is still up by 10 with the ball after half.

It's not as bad as you think it is, sir.

Coaches need to do some serious brainstorming re: pass D. The Cal game was understandable. They had great talent and their QB was hitting some amazing passes. This game is unacceptable. UW couldn't be more wide open and it's starting to open up the run game.
Those kind of tempo teams will always get their yards, but for the most part, the D kept the plays in front of them. Wiscy is just toasting them tonight, and that is not good.
