Yeah, I know we have to win two games (well, at least one game to share the title) but when is the last time we've won the Big 10 title in football and basketball back-to-back?

I very much dislike Drew Neitzel.

MSU got just about every call down the strecth. Apparently Naymick was given a free pass to push in the back all game long.

No crap.....maybe the Browns could sign him as a good blocking Tight End or something

I don't know off hand, but I'd guess it's probably in the early 60s....

Well actually, we shared the Big Ten football title in 2005 and were also first in conference play that year. (I know, we didn't win the tournament, but still, it is a win of the Big 10 conference). EDIT - and what we are otherwise all going back to was an era without the tournament.

I think he means back to back years when OSU has won the football and basketball titles....

They are a total hack team. If the referees would call fouls on them they would have lost by 25 tonight (although everybody would have fouled out but Powder and the waterboys). They are one and done....in the NIT.

When MSU beats Wisconsin Izzo cries.
Wisconsin's program is so far above MSU's it's silly. February 20 will become a holiday in Lansing. The day the Spartans beat the Badgers.

Mark it down!!!!....This team will beat Ohio State this weekend and then MSU will get throttled for the crown mere days later. It was MSU's night tonight, but keep things in perspective here. This was the worst thing that could have happened for Ohio State..... Watch.

- 20-30, depends on if we make our foul shots and Bo Let's Tucker do an alley-oop jam for the last play.

I know not a lot of folks on here like Drew Neitzel, but wow.... you can't really deny that the game lies in his hands when it comes down to it. We doubled-teamed him to set his teammate up for a miss to beat them, and after watching only the last 3:30 tonight.... give it up for him. The only reason to keep an eye on MSU the rest of the way is Drew Neitzel.

I don't really understand this argument by Wisky fans. IMO, beating a team that's ranked #1/#2 when your team is unranked is cause for storming the court and celebrating. What's funny is that by saying that it's embarrassing for MSU fans to storm the court, Wisky fans are implying that Wisky basketball is not that formidable of an opponent.

I like how some of them are pinning the blame on one player (Kam).

That's hilarious. Well Wisconsin fans aren't used to being one of the big boys in the Big Ten. They WERE the minor league of the Big Ten with Northwestern and Purdon't (at the time) until Ryan and Alvarez showed up.

I agree. "You beat us, and storm the court? Who does that make you?" That attitude is a little two-faced in my book. They would do it against a number of teams, if not even in the Big Televen. I won't even get into their next game...

I guess as much as it sucks to lose I take the other team's celebrating as an accomplishment.

It's official...MSU's in the tourney. They will be a VERY dangerous 7-10 seed in the group of 64 IMO.
