BUMP because this pic never gets old and is quite accurate, actually.

this does include the pre game vid which I know has been posted, but also wanted to show you the student section after the vid when Hell's Bells was playing, pretty cool imo, dunno if they do it for every game of just this one...made it all better with wiscy doing shootaround at that time

Now that the ass whooping is over and finished, what will we see down the road heading into the brackets and the NCAA. Will Thad Matta have a different defense strategy? or a different approach to the offensive side. I would think that something on these lines would ge a good thing or should they just stick to what has brought them here so far.

You don't fix what isn't broken.

Coming off what was quite possibly the most efficient offensive display in the history of the NCAA, against a Top 10 team and the second best defense in the land, I hope not.

It's worth noting that if the Buckeyes land the #1 overall, they should be rewarded with a trip through the East region. That means they will play the first two rounds in Cleveland (at The Q) before heading to Newark for the regionals (at The Rock). Both are modern basketball facilities similar to the VCA, so the shooters should be plenty comfortable. They would not have to face an odd configuration until the FF in Houston, which will be at Reliant Stadium.

Doing the Hive for about a minute - that crowd was ready to rock.

Definitely the best game atmosphere I've seen in the Schott.

...

Still, it's hard for the rest of us not to notice there are more fans in the arena and they seem to be having a lot more fun. Matta described the "loudness of it" as "40 minutes of third-down defense," and called it, "awesome, the best I've seen it there."

Senior David Lighty, who high-fived a lot of those lined-up students on his way into the arena, liked it, too.

"Crazy," he said. "It was crazy, from start to finish. From the fireworks going off until the streamers at the end of the game. I mean, it was a great way to go out, especially being No.1 and being outright champions."

Lighty said he has noticed growing support for the program in a five-year career that started with a trip the NCAA championship game.

"It was never bad, never bad at all," he said. "But I think it's getting more and more intense. I think we've kind of solidified ourselves as a two-sport school."

Football is going to have to share?

Deal with it.

The team needs to be rewarded for their overall defense against Wisky. They closed out on the shooters better than they have all season and their rotations were spot on too. You can tell they studied a lot of film and worked hard on their switching assignments. Perfect time to peak defensively.

Diebs is getting a lot of for his points but its how he's getting his points that Im impressed with. Step backs, drives and just pulling up on cats has Diebs channeling his inner Reggie Miller. lol

And Dallas has actually been looking pretty good (for him) on offense as well. His post game has come a long way. He's feeling the defender and making good choices on moves to make whereas before he just caught the ball and already knew what he was going to do (which led to off. fouls, hard shots, etc...)

I was actually going to post the gif of John Cleese crying as he watches his donations rack up at the end of "Rat Race" but could not find it. So that had to suffice.

Personally, I liked this one. The plunger just adds to it. :wink2:

Did anyone else shed an emotional tear when the seniors were pulled to standing-O's near the end of the game? Great moment.

I was trying to explain to my wife what they were doing, but she was cutting onions or something, so I got a little misty eyed. :sob:
