I've always liked them
You're engaged and your grand rules are as follows:

1. No way you attend BCS Title game against LSU in New Orleans with your friends. Only way you go is with your fiancee who didn't go to OSU and doesn't even know the knicknames of the teams involved.

2. Bachelor party involves not leaving CBus (where you live) and engagement is broken is if you travel on a male only trip to Asia or Vegas with Daytonbuck. Strippers are strictly prohibited and not friend's girlfriend/wife females

3. You can make no trip longer than a days drive without your fiance

4. Any gathering of your friends in an unapproved location is strictlly off limits (High School, College or otherwise) outside of a pre fiance approved location

5. Trips not involving the fiancee aren't prohbited in words but actions

Unless she is loaded and has quesionable eyesight, you better get ahold of this out of control situatuion. If she is that insecure or that controlling, there is a lifetime of agony for both concerned.

Get a grip--if there is no trust there is no nothing! (Yes I know it is poor wording, but its there for effect)

Nobody on the planet is full of more shit than the recently engaged American female.

"Oh, you don't want me to shoot craps for 6 hours a day in vegas? You mean I can't go enjoy playing a round of golf in the desert with my friends? Going out to dinner at Smith and Woll's for steak and wine with my groomsmen upsets you?" "Fine, I'd like to have the ring back please."

"No really. It's clear we have some things to resolve before and if we resume our engagement - give me back the ring. I'll return it when we have a better understanding of trust in our relationship."


When you say this, be 100% calm and don't raise your voice. She will panic, tear up and likely yell. Your responses to her outbursts should be short and nondescript. "I guess we need to work on US somemore before we get married" and the like....

I give it 20-25 minutes before she signs off on your entire trip and doesn't question one again until children arrive.
