I go back to what LJB said, JT does his damage early. He closes well early but the proficiency drops off significantly on the late signees. I'm OK with that...whatever JT does, it's working in all phases and I'm glad that Braxton chose tOSU and this staff. It will be great for both Braxton and tOSU.

I forgot my sarcasm font.

That ESPiN article is biggest pile of crap I've ever read. They dog Pryor as a "freakish athlete" instead of a QB, but praise Troy as a great QB out of high school? This guy doesn't know what he's talking about.

In their defense, they're saying Troy is the only recent QB as good or better than expected out of HS. Obviously Zwick didn't, and well Todd Boeckman would be a tossup because he wasn't really "hyped" out of highschool. The only other QB we've had play is Pryor and I don't think he's lived up to the hype coming out of HS but then again who could have?

Urban Meyer, having just awoken from a dream in a cold sweat, placed a phone call to a recruit. No word on who that recruit is, however. Maybe I should post my updates in the General Recruiting thread.

+1. Guess that means we don't have to worry about him switching his commitment on us. Welcome to the family Braxton!!
