i tutor at risk kids....its more rewarding than working with lazy pissed off grown-ups going through mid life crisis's...(thats not a shot at any of you, BTW)

you have to have a lot of patience with these kids...that is why i am easier on players like durnon, clarett,...i like watching them on tv..when they no longer play, i focus on someone else..and i am usually more likely to defend them, rather than criticize them...but thats just me

buckeyes who i have problems with are guys like RJ Reynolds....

There's a word for someone who blindly supports people they don't even know no matter how many times they screw up. We've got a few of them here, too.

just because your not a hater....doesnt make you a supporter...

i don't really care what he does, or how he did in school(why should i/why should any of us)....my problem is the people who care enough about players personal lives to post negative things about them on ohio state websites...

when i say personal life, i mean ANYTHING that goes on outside of the 3 hours we see them on TV on saturday..

Because they are high profile representatives of The Ohio State University. They have been offered and accepted that privilege. The scholarship offer does not just include 3 hours on Saturday afternoon, and they are told that up front. They have entered into an agreement, and should at least make an attempt to uphold their part.

I wouldn't define Duron Carter as an at risk kid..maybe a spoiled young man who feels he's entitled to everything because of his background

I'm inclined to agree with this. He has seen more privilege than most of us ever will, and he has wasted most of it so far. He'll keep getting chances though and I hope he starts making the most of them soon.

never said he was at risk...i mentioned that so people could get an understanding of why i defend "kids"

duron is probably the exact opposite of at risk...

but anyway...i guess you guys can say what you want about him...
