WR Grant Schwartz (official thread)

oh man! I didn't want it to sound like that:! . I just wanted to give some insight on why this player has flown under the radar. No more posts from me unless there is news out of the Woody Hayes Facility:wink2:.

Hey, just yanking your chain...post away!

I'm hoping for Coleman CB, Wallace at the other corner and Grant Schwartz at safety. What you'll have there is the best backfield recruiting class in the nation. You can take that to the bank!

How 'bout Ray Small and Wallace at CB, Coleman and Schwartz at S? That beats your best class in the nation

I like Fox also. If we miss out on Wallace somehow i say we probably offer Fox. Even if he commits we may have room for him. We also may be waiting on Bryan Thomas he is high on OSU.

he was just giving you a hard time. We love any insight, especially if the person knows more than the average poster (we don't mind homerism when its about one of our recruits). Looking forward to more posts from you before he verbals

Hey guys! No worries. I'll of course keep everyone abreast of any significant goings on. He was selected yesterday to the Max Emfinger All American game, so that's nice. As far as sharing any communications with coaches. I'm thinking they would probably prefer that remains private, at least until he might be offered. I'm hoping they see him as a player that can help in many different ways and a guy that plays to win championships. As they saw @ camp he is a fierce competitor.

With possibly only one safety spot to award a scholarship to for '06. It would be an amazing thing for ANYONE no matter how talented. To be an Ohio State Buckeye is truly special. When you are one you share in history. Not only of tOSU but of the game of football itself. And this is shared by the players, coaches AND the fans. It's a group effort to be sure. Goosebumps! Go Bucks!:osu:

I finally took a look at that video and I must say I was impressed. Grant looks to me to be as good a prospect at QB as Henton. I would offer him as a safety and as a hedge at QB against Henton backing out or failing to qualify. Grant reminds me a bit of McCarthy from last year, except he clearly is a much better QB.

Schwartz says that Coach Fickell has said he is the top safety prospect for OSU and that the staff wants to see him on defense for a few games before they offer. Grant says if OSU offered, it would be hard to pass up.

Ohio State is the leader, followed by USC, Oregon, Virginia Tech, Colorado, Colorado State and Washington State.
