Lots of ways to go with this, really, but I'll just say you have amazing unconscious posting skills.

Or was that rhetorical?

Nice to hear he's solid. Really looking forward to seeing James in a Buckeye uniform.

This is probably a legitimate concern... Could we put a "Danger: Hard Hat Area" warning on this thread title???

This sounds pretty definitive that he will take visits (at his mothers urging).

Plans Change for Louis
December 31, 2009 by Luke Stampini

Wednesday afternoon following Under Armour All-American Game practice Delray Beach Atlantic wide receiver James Louis mentioned schools like Miami, Florida, and Minnesota were still recruiting him, despite the fact he had been an Ohio State commitment since July. It was also learned at practice Wednesday that the 5-foot-11, 180-pound speedster from Palm Beach County had spoken to a member of the Florida Gator coaching staff Tuesday.

...
Late Wednesday night, things changed and it looks like more visits will take place for Louis after speaking to his mother this afternoon. "Momma told me today she wants me to take all my visits."

The two schools Louis says he plans to visit in January are Florida and North Carolina. Louis says his mother still would like him to go to Ohio State, but as Louis said, "She hasn't ever got to meet any other school." She will get her chance this coming week as new Florida Gator wide receiver coach Zach Azzanni is scheduled to stop by according to Louis.

Rough start for SoFLA at UA
December 31, 2009 by Luke Stampini

The start of the Armour All-American Game practices did not got as well as hoped by some SoFLA prospects. Read how the ten players from Palm Beach, Broward, and Dade Counties did during the opening practice.

...
James Louis WR Delray Beach Atlantic: Louis looked smooth running routes and just gliding across the field with ease. Nerves of stepping on the practice field with some of the nation's best and having the practice aired on ESPNU looked to have got to some of the players practicing, Louis seemed to take everything in stride and go about his business as usual.

"The first practice today was good. I think each one of us got better play by play. We just got to keep getting better." Louis did not have many balls thrown his way as most of the passes were going to the outside receivers. In 1-on-1's Louis shined. "You know I knew I was going against the best DB's out here so I just said in order for me to get better I got to play at my best. I think I did good and I will just be ready to compete tomorrow."

Except the fact that the article reconfirming his committment and the article saying he'll take visits were written on the same day..

IMO, if his mother is pushing him to take visits, then his recruitment is still open. It sounds like Ohio State is a the leader with 4 laps (visits) to go.

I had mentioned earlier today in the "Seantrel Hendersen" thread that a buddy of mine met Marcus Hall, Johnathan Newsome and Duron Carter. Some info I forgot to pass along was that Duron said that he is really tight with James Louis and he is a solid verbal to the Buckeyes....NO chance of a decommit here in his opinion. Duron also said, "get ready to be wowed by James next year"! I for one can't wait!

Different source (though very reliable), same basic info, James seems like a good kid and very much a Buckeye. Got out to see him this year, great fluidity in the hips, and good change of direction even on a torn up field. I think he could definately see time as a solid punt returner at some point in his career.

Louis could be rethinking commitment to Ohio St.
> Posted by Steve Dorsey on January 18, 2010

It's been almost six months since Atlantic's James Louis, one of the state's top-rated wide receivers, made a verbal commitment to Ohio State after becoming frustrated with the manner in which Florida seemed to be backing off its offer to him. When Louis announced he was committing to the Buckeyes, Urban Meyer began returning his phone calls, Louis said.

However, Louis said then that it was too late for the Gators.

That might be changing now. Atlantic coach Andre Thaddies said Louis visited UF this past weekend. He's also planning to visit Virginia Tech with Atlantic quarterback and Hokies commit Mark Leal and possibly North Carolina in the next two weeks before national signing day on Feb. 3.

Louis could be rethinking commitment to Ohio St.
