WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba (2022 Rose Bowl MVP, Seattle Seahawks)

I am implying that either he is ok to go now but doesn’t want to risk it. That or we have a confusing medical staff who couldn’t get a guy on the field for 3 months for a hamstring
What @dragurd said:
He tried to come back against freaking Toledo?

Do you think the same guy who would risk reinjury vs Toledo would say nah I'm not going to risk it for all the marbles?

continued personal attacks and name calling on a message board. You should be really proud of yourself. Tough!

Anyhow. I’m not going to argue with you. You can think what you want. I will think what I want.

Especially when our RB tries to play all year with torn ligaments. Shows me how much heart Trayveon truly has at the very least.
Questioning the heart of a kid who has bled for this team. Super proud moment for you, I'm sure.

Yep, possibly. That's early in the year and I appreciate him trying to play. But that was reevaluate draft stock era and say I'm healthy in the spring, but I'll sit out for the draft. There's plenty of people that think that's fine, I see that. I get both sides. I'm just on the side with players that prefer to play. No ill will to JSN, but just moreso mean let's focus on the locker room without him.

Yet you’re allowed to call JSN “weak.” How’s that for being “tough” online. Ain’t Buckeye fans great…

go set a Rose Bowl record then talk.

Get healthy and make Buckeye fans proud in the league, Jaxon.

Hopefully he ends up in a better organization than his brother (Pirates OF). :biggrin2:

We don't know how badly the kid was hurt and we don't have a right to know.

I'll take him at his word and move on.

Man we have some fucked up ass luck with stuff like this. Nick Bosa comes to mind immediately.

When I was about 30, I tweaked my right hamstring playing beer league soccer. Limped along on it a while Last game of the season, early November, I ripped it pretty well. Basically coin toss for surgery.

Did some rest. Went through a round of PT. Started a light jog in January, twice a week on an indoor track along with resistance training and a lot of elliptical, took until April till I didn't feel the tweak anymore.

Obviously I didn't have the resources JSN did but it was a 6 month deal for me.

Never had a problem with that one again tho.

I am wondering if he tore the hammy off the bone to a less severe level than Ken Griffey, Jr. I have to believe it is something more because as lingering as hamstrings are I cannot see this being a 4 month injury. But I’m not a doctor. Hope he is ready to go by combine time. He has always been a class act kid and cannot wait to see him on the field again.
That’s been my thought all along.

Well… not exactly what I expected to hear. Suppose it was very dumb to expect him to trot out there with millions on the line, but that’s how much I wanted to see him suit up in S&G one last time. Just the thought of him entering the game is dangerous.

Regardless, kid is a winner in my book.

Go heal up properly and get your money, Jaxon.
