WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba (2022 Rose Bowl MVP, Seattle Seahawks)

Lest you think I don't wish him well, I do, you are wrong.

Can't be proven but I think he is hurting himself by not trying to play.
NFL execs will be leery.
No way he goes anywhere close to top 10, near the back end of rd 1 now.

He is slot receiver with questionable speed, with significant injury history, toughness questions, and probably a 4.6 guy.
I don't use a 1st rounder on him.

We're talking about playing for a natty v elite talent not the Pinstripe Bowl.
Give it a shot.
It was impress your potential future employers more then missing basically the entire year with a hammy.
Day needs to stow talking about toughness to the media every 5 minutes. He needs to recruit it not try and talk it into existense.

Those are takes that make me wish I knew how to award some infractions. Not so much RB.....but for some bean bag that has been here for 3 days? Fuck right on off.
Does the forum software allow timed bans or is that a manual thing someone has to ban and go back unban.

I was banned way back in my college days for a basketball hottake which bashed a player for like a week..

We've gotten a lot looser over the years as it became a community where almost everyone is long time posters. But could use some warnings or a a day or few off

The last part I should have left off, sorry about that. I'll go back and edit. I just don't get how you get in the playoffs and choose not to play. If we didn't get in, then I get it completely. Times they are a changing I guess.

From what Lemerise was saying I'll see if I can find it during my lunch break in 20 mins it may not be in the kids hands anymore.

He could have wanted to go and the docs shut him down.

Toughness questions? And hasn't he only had this one injury? If execs want him to play thinking he'll suddenly be faster, they'd be wasting their time. And I think he's plenty fast for what he does. The keys to his game have always been an uncanny ability to create space, adjusting to the ball, and understanding where to sit down in zones. His ability to make guys miss and good not great speed are bonuses on top of the incredible instincts.

He should have been put on ice for the Playoffs the moment he got hurt against ND.

Trying to bring him back twice during the season was stupid and wholly unnecessary.

You bring guys back when you think they can play again. Just a tricky injury to deal with.

JSN has done nothing wrong. The speculation is caused by the HC after Iowa he could have said it appears JSN is out for the year. If JSN was ready for the playoffs nobody is going to hold Day for something said in October. Days subterfuge on injuries puts the stress on the player. Hell just recently Henderson had to come out and defend himself and disclose his injury. The Coach could have had his back instead of being coy with it.

Then we should have the doctors reviewed if that is the case. A hamstring injury can linger no doubt but unless there was something more here, JSN sat out. If it was the medical staff, then apologies to JSN. Not directed at you at all man, I just hate to see the direction this all is going...
