WR/RB Lamaar "Flash" Thomas (transfer to New Mexico)

If i recall Thomas has one more unofficial visit this summer to Tennessee. After that he narrows his list to three. tOSU is in good shape at this stage. The Bucks are still his leader long after the luster of his visit has worn off.

Ohio State Scout - Adam Jardy - 07/25/07

After visiting Florida for their Friday Night Lights camp, Lamaar's leader is still Ohio State.

Lamaar talks about his interaction (or lack thereof) with Florida head coach Urban Meyer.

Great update. A couple more calls from the Brew Crew, some crossed fingers, and hopefully the end of September will be good for the Bucks :oh:

Excellent...I would love for the bitterness to end for a bit in Maryland. Thomas could really elevate this class with his speed and if he comes back from Tennessee without a new car, I would say we're in good shape

And he lists Illinois high but not OSU????
Recruit profiles are usually a terrible gauge for schools of interest (very poorly updated). Then again, they are still probably a safer bet than ESPN :p (recent chat had McGuffie choosing between USC & UF).

Then I'd hope you like long walks on the beach, b/c that's what you'll be doing with all of your free time in the unemployment line. To use that kind of absolute logic is just ignorant. I think it's silly to say that if he chooses Illinois he wouldn't make it into the NFL or get drafted any higher than if he attended OSU, as if it's already predetermined.
Read the below excerpt from OSUBuckeye4Life's post for my reply (he saved me a lot of typing)...

I think you are taking this a bit overboard. I took it was him saying if the situation was that there were two backs and either all things equal...that the Ohio State guy would get the advantage given the history...
