WR Ted Ginn, Jr. (Official Thread)

So the top speed must be a little bit higher considering they couldn't maintain that speed from start to finish. Right? lol, so 25mph lol?

Usain Bolt had a 0.82 sec 10m split (from the 70m to 80m points) during his 9.69 world record 100m sprint, which if my math is correct works out to 12.2 m/s, which in turn is a speed of 27.3 mph. That 0.82 sec 10m split is the fastest ever recorded, so Bolt's 27.3 mph speed during that 10m section is the fastest speed ever recorder by a human. To say that Ginn can sustain that is pure crack-addict delusion.

I remember the kickoff return @ Indiana (2005) that got called back. It was the most electrifying play I had ever seen in person. He had a punt return TD that counted later in the day and I swear Ted was jogging. He's not all speed though, I watched some of that game vs Kansas City and he made some tough catches in traffic. He's really maturing into a good all around player.

Great to see Ted grab a big TD against the Jets yesterday. I wonder if he'll get any action in the wildcat during the playoffs. I saw a few reverses thrown in with the direct snap to the RB (Brown or Williams, or both - can't remember). Give Ted a block and a crease and he'll give you 6 points.

Not a great night for the Dolphins, but Congrats to Teddy on a great 2nd year. Let's hope Henne =/ takes the reigns next year.

For as much pub as Pennington got for Miami's season, he didn't impress me much. Everyone throws out his 67% completion percentage to prove he was awesome. How many throws did he complete to a RB out of the backfield, or Cobbs playing FB?

It's very misleading.

Anyways, Teddy becomes even better once they have a QB that can threaten the defense with a deep throw. Chad snuck a few past the secondary this year, but strong armed QB will help Teddy even more.

The chagrin was directed to Henne's ama mater, but I completely agree with you. Penningtons lack of accuracy in his down field throw shined brightly tonight. He just flings it up there hoping it ends up on the right side of the reciever. Henne could provide a much better deep threat.

It would be better if Miami traded for Troy Smith though. (At least thats what I did in my fantasy team in Madden.)

i don't know if you guys saw it, but Teddy fumbled away a reverse that basically sealed the game for the Baltimore. as a Ravens fan, i was of course excited but it was painful to see Teddy walk off the field with his head down and so dejected. he did have some key catches, considering how bad Pennington played.

i really hope he can find his place on the team, hopefully when they get a QB that can make some deep plays.

He fell on a bad pitch that was supposed to be a hand-off. The only thing wrong TG did on that play was not pick the ball up right away.....but footballs aren't exactly perfect circles.

You finally got the hell out of Sayre, BN?
