I can almost live with the questionable reads, the turnovers, and the overall lack of execution; but what I find most troubling is the seeming lack of leadership and engagement when times are tough. The coaches can (an certainly need to) teach the fundamentals, the reads, and the tendancies, but they can't teach leadership. When I watch TP I see a kid that lacks the entusiasm and frankly the energy to lead our team. After a good play or a bad one, TP was seen every time sitting on the bench, alone, and with his head hanging. I know that he is only a sophmore, and he has my benefit of the doubt, but this to me is troubling? I just don't see a player ready to assume the leadership role required of a big time qb, let alone the skill set. That said, we'll live or die by him, as is Tressell's way. Should make for an interesting rest of the season and a ton of fuel for the BP website.

Friend of mine said everytime he sees Terrelle he's always got his hands on his head looking down.

Kid's got a lot of growing up to do.

In the mean time...we get this.

I understand that he shoudl be making some plays, and I think he did today...

But it is about expectations, but expecting him to make all of those plays expecting him to be an All-American back there...

My expectations for ANY QB at tOSU does not include four turnovers and numerous terrible throws that cost us points or first downs. Whether that QB is TP or someone else.

Do I expect him to have mastery of the game akin to Peyton Manning? Hell no.
But I also don't expect to see an offense on the field as inept as what FL St and Miami had for 4 or 5 years in a row.

I expect our QB to have enough intestinal fortitude to stand in and deliver, or at least try to deliver, a pass that has a chance.

With the talent level on hand there is no excuse for this level of production.

I was skeptical when watching youtube videos of TP back from his high school days, not of his amazing running ability but that all the highlights were of him outrunning everyone on the field. He is so fun to watch when he is out and making the long runs as he is so smooth, however those are few and far between now that defenses are forcing him to make decisions downfield. The media has built him up undeservingly and will surely bring him down for not meeting their unrealistic goals. Is there any way to measure his development as far as him going to his 2nd and 3rd options? Its so difficult to read the qb's eyes from watching a tv screen, but appears there is not many 2nd and 3rd options being considered. Here's hoping he uses the rest of the season to prove the naysayers wrong.

I saw one thing that showed improvement and I really liked today in the 4th quarter. He looked to Saine on a screen and drew the linebacker covering Posey up to cover the screen and threw a bullet to Posey for about 7 yards.
