I don't know where else they could have gone given the wrestlers on the roster at the time. I mean are you going to take Booker T over The Rock? Probably not. Same goes fro the WCW tag champs over the APA, that wasn't going to happen either.

RVD won as did Kidman and we all won in the bra and panties match :biggrin:

I think HHH being out really messed up what would have been the real plan, because he would have been Terra Ryzing for WCW....

The streak is ridiculous. Theres nothing entertaining about predictability. They really should have had him drop the streak to Orton when he had the "Legend Killer" gimmick. Orton eventually got over on his own, but it took some time. Every year they build up somebody like they're going to end it, and it never happens. It's just a let down. If they ever did let someone end the streak that guy would have immense heat for the rest of his career I'd imagine. I'd love to see a dirty finish to end the streak personally, like a run in while the ref's back is turned.

Once Orton lost, I pretty much new it would never end. You're exactly right, at that time, it would have been the perfect person to end the streak. I did enjoy the 4 matches with HBK and HHH. For guys that old to put on the show they did, I thought it was outstanding. And they did great jobs selling. THere were a few times when I thought Taker and the streak were done.
