Clearly photoshopped. If the great pumpkin was standing there, the front of the ship would be the part sinking.

...or is Weis on the back?

Actually with Toledo losing their fat coach this year too and Weis looking like he might not make it, there could be a very serious shortage of fat coaches in the NCAA next year.

Weis isn't going anywhere. ND will just lighten the schedule even more in a pathetic attempt to justify their contract with Fat Bastard.

Who's your choice for new coach?

I wish we could get Gruden, but IMO that's a pipe dream. My realistic wish list would be Leach,Kelly,or Kiffin if he could bring in his father as defensive co.

I've heard Brian Kelly is a good recruiter, but you guys would probably know more about him then me.If you coach at Tennessee you HAVE to be able to recruit on a national level.

By the way,I lurk here a lot and you guys have a really good forum. It's laid out really good, and the OSU fan base is very knowledgeable when it comes to college football......unlike one of the USC forums I visit where the fans are arrogant, and most of them are dumb as rocks when it comes to football.

Thanks for the kind words.

Your 'realistic wish list' sounds about right to me.

Do you accept Cutcliffe at his word, or is it possible he's just avoiding talking about the UT job until Duke's season is over?

Gator could provide some scathing insight on this and I hope he does

Wyoming is a terrible WAC team. I could go down there and beat OOC opponents. I could launch myself into history off of this.
What could I say that would be more scathing than losing to Wyoming at home?

Dayton - this team has given up. End of story. Sad to see, as I prefer them to be an underacheiving 9-3 team with a good OOC record.

Now they might get a coach that actualy knows something about offense, and make our SEC East life even more miserable.

I for one am glad to see Phat Phil go. One, his program has been 'not so clean' (although the NCAA hasn't deigned to investigate it), two, he has picked OSU's pocket for many (at least several) recruits that I particularly wanted to see in scarlet & gray, and three, his lack of proper grammer during his pressers....(OK the last one's a little weak).

However, it's hard to feel good about the change at Tennessee, knowing that he's walking away with $6 mil. That's a chunk of change that makes one forget the pain of being shown the gate. Gator, you're right, the Vols are mailing it in. Seniors trying not to get hurt so they can show their wares at the combine, and the underclassmen trying now to get hurt so they can xfer out - maybe Vandy....

Anyway, Tennessee is a superior program, with great fan base and the biggest stadium, probably one of the top ten programs (?) in terms of places to be, so that will probably get a upper tier coach (or high potential person) to say, "I will". Ultimately that means that OSU needs to lock down the borders better as the smallish population of Tennessee doesn't turn out great ballers, so they'll come sniffing north of the Ohio River for some of our homegrown talent.....
