So, here's a Left Coast (Portland) perspective to lighten things up:

The media here thinks tOSU is an NCAA darling and got off with a slap on the wrist.

OS Beaver fans think it's a sign that duck served two ways will soon be on all local restaurant menus.

And Duck fans (typically with their heads under water) think they were ripped off by a fly-by-night recruiting service and will not face any sanctions whatsoever. (Of course, Duck fans also think they didn''t get their ass kicked by tOSU, Auburn and LSU.)

POV is a wonderful thing, eh?

Personally, I think it could have been worse. I'm still excited enough about the new energy to join a fan site and post on it (hopefully without getting "sanctioned")!

I know that because I've read the same claim many times, and there is no concrete evidence to make it infallible...other than Buckeye fans that don't want to believe their legendary coach might, just possibly, be flawed. I thought that was just a given but good point.

I am disapointed that Ohio State can not play for a championship next year because I think it was a reality...but if you told me in July when the rumor mill was filled with scary things and our world as fans and alum was crumbling around us that by 2012 Ohio State will have hired Urban Meyer and the recruiting class would charge up into the top ten but a one year bowl ban would have to be served I would take it in a fucking heart beat.

There was a point where I thought more and more would come out untill no one would come near this job and the school would make a desperate hire that would bring on a dark period much like that of Bama from 93 to 05

it wont be long and the cupboard is full,,,next year will be captivating enough just witnessing a new philosophy in Ohio Stadium and last I checked VC will have cold beer so fuck it im good

That's not a claim; it was known long before you people read this in the media. Just because you read something "many times" does not make it true or not true. Many acient folks believed that the earth was flat for a long time too.

I am not here to defend Tressel for his action or non-action in that matter. We looked at all the evidence and circumstances and based on what is consistent with his character, his other actions and those who know him well. Yes JT has flaws just like you and I...yes, we all lie. Some people decides not to throw stones, some do.
