YOUR 2016 Cleveland Indians Thread (American League CHAMPS!)

The little cowboy got off of his merry go round, horse and gave 5 solid innings which helpfully Clevinger can do this afternoon but the question is who will follow him since Francona used his big three last night out of the bullpen.

McFastball and Perci The Tank Engine are the likely candidates i'm guessing. So we should hope they have a decent enough lead by the time that time comes

The way that Clevinger is going.. It looks like they might get their opportunity very early. I really do not want to see McFastball until the game is out of reach… Way out of reach. One way or another.
Can someone please tell Underwood that he does not have to talk constantly or maybe hardly at all:huh:

 So Gomes apparently got hurt on a HBP to the hand last night enough that he will likely be held back longer. Not that he was playing any better then the schlubs we are trotting out at catcher right now, but damn man.

Actually Perez has been quite a bit less still shitty the last 3 weeks or so.

While I agree with the hitting aspect I think that Gomes might handle the pitchers better than the other two.

Looks like it's about to happen, Shawn Armstrong warming up. 85 pitches through 4

True on both points. I guess i'm being "wishful" that Gomes unscrewed his head during his time off and might be somewhat decent at the plate when/if he returns

yeah,, he pitched really well,, except for that fastball or whatever. right down the heart to Abreu..
Naquin looks like he is wearing down.
Need to get our bullpen to Detroit to help Minnesota

Naquin has taken a dive, I guess it should had been expected. His Average on August 3 was .330, it's now .297 (He's hitting .267 in September so far)

The Tribe offense would make James Shields look great. Most strikeouts in a game since may and first time allowing 1 run or fewer in a start since July
it seems like all the Indian''s "hitters" do it in one game and then do not hit again until they score a bunch of runs again, and then they all join in and then they go quiet for a "few" games again. Hopefully, the Twins can hold on and we can keep backing in.
