YOUR 2016 Cleveland Indians Thread (American League CHAMPS!)

The problem is that we probably used up all our hits for this series in one game. Hopefully, they can prove me wrong today and tomorrow.

Well, even if you're right and the Tiggers win the next two, they only end up picking up one game on the Tribe from the series. The sky is not falling.

Here's something that maybe we should worry about. I saw before Thursday's game that Chisenhall was scratched late for "lower abdominal discomfort" and I thought it meant he'd had some bad tacos or something. Then last evening I read he was still out but a "scan" was "clean." Hmmm. Don't scan for Montezuma's Revenge, right? Hernia or groin pull? This might not be good.

I did not say it was falling, but I would like them to clinch the division at home. That would be really sweet. I just want them to get it over with so I can stop watching every single game
I saw Chiz goofing around in the dugout last night, so hopefully it is nothing serious.

Edit: Chiz is not in the lineup today either, so you might be onto something @Zippercat

Bottom of the 8th one out, Santana walks, Kipnis doubles (ground rule) ... then Lindor and Napoli both strike out to end the inning. This team is so un-clutch.

BTW, the Indians' ground crew needs to do something about the warning track - too many balls are bouncing over the fence. If Kipnis's hit stays in the park, Santana scores easily and the Indians' take the lead heading into the 9th.

EDIT: Andrew Miller holds in the 9th. Still 0-0 heading to the bottom of the inning.

EDIT: In the bottom of the 9th, Indians strand runners on second and third again. This offense is so pathetic.

EDIT: Miller holds again in the 10th. Tribe offense will make another futile attempt to score in the bottom of the inning.

EDIT: Santana leads off the 10th with a walk. Kipnis can't execute the sacrifice bunt, Santana out at second on the fielder's choice. Then the Tigers' pitcher throws back-to-back wild pitches, Kipnis ends up on third with one out. Lindor walks. Napoli intentionally walked to load the bases. Jose Ramirez mercifully ends this shit show with a seeing-eye single up the middle.

Magic number is down to 7.
