Would you sign up your child (son or daughter) for a sports league (baseball, football, soccer, softball, lacrosse) if there were no scores kept and no standings kept?

The pussification of the human race continues...it's things like this that lead to people that can't cope in the real world. Life isn't fair, and shit happens. Teaching these things early on can do nothing but benefit kids.

That first year the kids should be taught about how the game is played, basic rules, etc. After that yes scores and standings should be kept. I think teaching a kid how to win and how to lose and handle disappointment are two important things that sports can do for a child.

1-teamwork
2-group dynamics
3-learning to lose- you dont have to like it but you should be able to do it with some class
4-hardwork
5-have fun
6-self improvement
7-group improvements
8-have fun
9-taking coaching
10-workign as a team
11-fun
so i think its silly but i see why some do it
