Zurp's 2007 Pick 'Em Game

I don't know what those numbers are. I think Michigan State is 1 point, Iowa is 2, and Illinois is 1. You only want to use 4 of your 15 points?

BUY (14 points):

Wisconsin - 7
Penn State - 5
Michigan State - 1
Illinois - 1

We earn a W for each W our team(s) get each week then, correct? Their non-conference games count for how many Ws we have, just not for what they cost to buy/sell?

Um. You get a point for each win your teams get. Non-conference schedule counts as zero. Like the games never get played.

Remember, you aren't stuck to those teams all season. You can buy/sell teams all you want to once that team has reached 3 Big Ten games. If Wisconsin is 3-0 at that point, and Illinois is 1-2, you can sell them both for a total of 4 points, and buy maybe 2-1 Iowa and 2-1 Purdue. Or maybe you want to keep Illinois, and only sell Wisconsin, and buy Iowa. With the numbers remaining the same, you still have 1 point leftover.

Note: leftover points are only used DURING THE SEASON. You may not carry points over from this point to later in the season. For instance, I have 15 points right now (if I sold my teams). I can't just wait until the third week of the season and buy the four best teams with my 15 points.

I hope I'm explaining this right. Let me know if there's any confusion. This game is, as far as I know, a Zurp original. It has the potential to be as confusing as I probably am.

Crap, I wish you would have issued that warning before I decided to play. I think Zurp Originals have been determined to cause cancer in the state of California.

Not all cancer. Just armpit cancer. And armpit baldness. And bad breath, and low SAT scores, and high levels of obesity.

And mass urination.

How about this?

If you want to acquire a team that has zero Big Ten wins after they've played at least 3 games, are they free to acquire, as long as you don't exceed 4 teams?

Yes. Absolutely free. That was the main reason I decided on the limit of 4 teams.

Again, it's not just 3 games - it's 3 Big Ten games. This game has nothing to do with nonconference games.

If anybody has a conference win after the first 3 weeks in September, it'll be a good trick. :wink2:

I'll start with:
tOSU - 8
Ind - 3
Minny - 3
MSU - 1
