I've read he likes MSU over tOSU.
I'm happy to just be in Walker's wheelhouse right now. I hope he still likes us more at the All-American game and on signing day.
What would be wrong with Doran choosing MSU?
We don't have the recent tradition you have, but we are working on getting there. Your tradition could have been our tradition had we not screwed it up.
We were once the power of the Big Ten, until we choked it away with stupid hires like Muddy...
That was a fluke. Illinois did nothing on offense all day. We face a similar offense to um with the running QB, so that doesn't worry me at all.
Illinois put up 33 points with 250 yards of offense. They won't get the tipped pass TD, and PSU is a shell of their former self. MSU is a much...
I don't see us beating Iowa on the road in two weeks, we haven't won there in forever.
If we pull that one off or at least be in the game to the end, its a good sign our program has turned the corner and rid ourselves of the old culture of MSU football.
We are finally beating ranked teams, and...
Sights from the MSU beatdown of the Walverines
Buckeyes, for your viewing pleasure, a little of what went on in Ann Arbor yesterday.
Yes, they are the Walverines, a hybrid name representing where they work and who they root for. Walmart and u-m.
Good ones first, entertainment value later...
At this point you shouldn't be worried, every Ohio kid you want, you get.
There will be a time where an Ohio kid goes elsewhere over tOSU, because he likes the other school more, for PT, etc.
Grant may be the kid to break the mold. If his heart was set on being a Buckeye, he would have...
Bell has been great, MD found a good one in Bell.
The thing I love about Bell is the ability to be patient and throw the stiff arm every chance he gets. That can't be taught, that is pure instinct and ability.
FWIW, Caper isn't going anywhere, he will see his touches in the MSU backfield...
Bam.
I seriously doubt Bolden's Dad would prefer Vandy or NW over some of the other schools after him. I don't think of Bolden Sr. is an education first kind of guy.
That being said, NW would be a good fit for Bolden ATHLETICALLY. I think he could thrive in that offense.
Take it for what is was worth.
As I said earlier, I thought you might have some interest in what was being said up here.
If that type of theory was that goofy, you wouldn't have people post in this thread that they have seen it happen where a players parent was given a job, it happens, and...
Please note my posts are rumor. I am new here, and did not realize I had to label these posts as rumor.
I'm not bashing the kid in any way, I wanted him to come to MSU, still do. I only posted it because you all had some interest in what happened with his recruitment, and thought you all...
OK, what have you heard?
I only reported what is being said here in MI, and I have found it being reported on numerous recruiting sites throughout the evening.
As inept as the NCAA is, you would think they would at least be smart enough to monitor things like parents given jobs at the same time their child commits to a school, or like in BB when a HS coach is hired as an assistant when their child commits to the school.
If I, said booster for that...
There were some big developments over the past week or so.
WOTS is Bolden Sr. asked for a job at MSU. Pissed Dantonio off, then pissed off Bolden Sr. when he was told no, and basically blew up Bolden Jr.'s recruitment to MSU.
Bolden Jr. was an MSU lean as most of you know, now it is gone...
Simple, we are talking top 30 rankings. Not top 100 or top 300.
When it comes to the impact a HS kid will make at the next level, DT's aren't top 30 impact players.
Could be when it comes to MSU, but I think we will offer at some point.
Some have said Dantonio doesn't like big DT's, we took Jeremiah, and he is struggling in the depth chart and has been moved to OL, so there is some truth to that statement when it comes to him.
um, who knows, they have...
