You sure that's not the O-Line? They look a lil big for scUM's "skilled" positions.

The fact that he has MSU ties, and that they are having a great season worries me. And the fact that if he signs with Scum, He would be a penciled in started when he signs scares me too. I really hope we land him, we loose alot on defense after this yr.

The Wade worry not, and neither should you, my friend.

Doran Grant isn't going to um. You can lock that.

This is a two horse race, MSU and tOSU. From what I hear, it is 50/50.

Fretting unnecessarily about recruits is kind of your schtick, isn't it...

Right at the top of the list is cornerback Doran Grant. After what we saw this year we need to stock the cornerback position. I would like to see a few more names on the list but it is late to get in on an elite kid now. I have always believed Grant was a definite Buckeye lean but after seeing that there is no corner out there who looks like a sure starter after Devon Torrence and Chimdi Chekwa leave, both seniors by the way, that the odds Grant comes this way are so good that Vegas would take him off the board if there was betting on such things.

Akron (Ohio) St. Vincent-St. Mary defensive back Doran Grant

Grant is rated as the top cornerback in the nation and the top player in Ohio for the class of 2011. The Spartans have long been viewed as one of his top choices and Saturday's win certainly didn't hurt their chances. Grant talked with SpartanMag.com's Paul Day about some of his favorite teams getting off to outstanding starts to their seasons.

"It's something to look at and it just makes the decision a little bit tougher," Grant said. "The teams I?m looking at are both playing good, undefeated. So I'm just going to take my time and be careful with the decision and make sure I make the right one, between if it's Ohio State, Michigan State or even if it's Penn State or USC or North Carolina or another school."

Fallsnewspress.com - Blocked punts, defense lead Warriors past Irish

The Irish defense stuffed Walsh's first drive and St. V opened with a 10-play, 80-yard touchdown drive. The drive was capped by a 29-yard screen pass from Irish quarterback Oliver Hildebrant to wide receiver Doran Grant for a touchdown. Chris Motley's extra point made it 7-0 with 5:14 left in the first quarter.

A Division I prospect as a defensive back, Grant caught five catches for 52 yards, but was a non-factor after the first quarter.
