When he went after the WR, the WR was in the air. He didn't come off of his feet. He LEAD with his HANDS - NOT HELMET. The reaction of being hit so hard caused a jarring of his head since he was coming down. Besides how was the DB supposed to know when the WR would come back down to his feet?

No scarlet glasses here, bad call. Watch Wishigan's D if you don't want violence and hard hits.

Agree completely. Howard led with his arms and his head snapped forward when he made contact. It was a terrible call as the DB was just going up to stop the WR. Are you not allowed to try and hit the WR who is making a catch now? Ridiculous.

The offense needs to score a touchdown. 45-10 looks a lot better. Feels a lot better and builds confidence. They were moving the ball well and they need to get it in there this time.

Why aren't we seeing more of Hall in the backfield.

Merr I guess 38-10 doesn't look that great, but that is sad since our starters were only in for one drive in the second and this could be a 52-10 game now if Tressel wanted it to be. Still with BSU and Oregon likely to put up 50+ points it would be nice to see a long drive/a long run.

BERRY time?

He hit helmet to helmet. Period. He keeps his head up and wraps the way he's supposed to and there's no flag there. Bad play going for the big hit instead of the sure tackle.

The kid flopped around like it was soccer. Then people want to cry about hits - whatever happened to football being a man-up, hard hitting, no pansey game? This world is too PC, too scared to allow anything. The QBs can't be touched ever, the WR are now being protected just as much. Apparently a defender must learn to hit softer or people will cry about it...

He left his feet and lead with the helmet. Take off the scarlet glasses folks. He goes for the wrap and there's no flag there.

It's bullshit though. He goes for the wrap and a catch can be made. He hits a receiver who went into the air ON HIS OWN ACCORD and he ensures there is no catch. It was a weak call, and not even helmet to helmet. And the call led to a bullshit TD in garbage time which just pisses me off
