Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

The holding thing goes all the way back to JoePed's handpicked refs. According to Pitt fans from the day, whenever another team would get a good drive rolling in the erector set, the refs would start calling holding. The pedsters were conditioned to expect all these holding calls on the other team, so when they didn't get them in the Big Ten: CONSPIRACY!

How does that account for the Penn State dinguses (dingusses? dingii?) who are my age (38) who weren't yet in college when they joined the Big Ten? They have been in the Big Ten more than half of their lives. Do they really remember "life before the Big Ten?" Or do they just hear the "old-timers" complaining about holding and use the mob-mentality to whine about it, too?

I figured I'd respond to this post:

According to my numbers, Wisconsin has passed Penn State. I don't know how many championships Wisconsin has since 1993, but Penn State has 3. Wisconsin has 2 since 2011, and they may have shared for one in 2010. And I bet they won at least one in the late 90's. So they've got at least 4. And number of wins: 109 for Wisconsin and 108 for Penn State.
Wisconsin has 6 official (shared or outright) since Ped State joined the Big Ten. 1993, 1998, 1999, 2010, 2011, 2012.

In the 22 seasons since the Pedsters joined, Ohio State has won--shared or outright(*)--11 conference titles (of which the 2010 title was vacated due to sanctions, so 10 titles "officially"). So, essentially we've won the conference every other year since they joined.

1993, 1996, 1998, 2002, 2005, 2006*, 2007*, 2008, 2009, 2010 (vacated), 2014*

Not to mention an undefeated season in 2012, when we were not allowed to win a conference championship.

Hell, Northwestern has 3 B1G titles to their credit since 1993.

Iowa has 2 (and 47 COY awards)

Purdue and Illinois have 1 each

I know reality isn't their strong suit but they should really be more focused on their true peers rather than the elite teams in the conference.

Bucknuts for Brains........in the B1G, oversigning IS CHEATING! The rule for the rest of the B1G is that you can sign 25 per year and sign up to 3 more kids IF YOU ALREADY HAVE ROOM FOR THEM (ie. with the 3 over-signees, you are at 85 or fewer recruits on scholarship)......GUESS THERE'S A DIFFERENT RULE FOR THE BUCKEYES???!???!?!?
:slappy:

There's so much going on in this short message. It's really a glorious example of ignorance and paranoia.

Here are the overall records of the "original" Big Ten teams since Penn State joined the conference in 1993, together with Penn State's record against each team during the same period:

Team.............W--L--T.....PCT.....PSU.vs..
Ohio.State......226-54-1...(.806)......7-15..
Wisconsin.......195-83-4...(.699)......8-7...
Penn.State......183-87-0...(.678)......N/A...
Michigan........184-90-0...(.672)......7-11..
Iowa............153-116-1..(.569)......7-9...
Michigan.State..154-117-1..(.568).....13-6...
Northwestern....130-135-1..(.491).....13-4...
Purdue..........126-138-3..(.478).....13-2...
Minnesota.......120-146-0..(.451)......8-5...
Illinois........101-158-1..(.390).....13-4...
Indiana..........88-167-0..(.345).....17-1...

So against the "elite" teams in the conference (Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin), Penn State has a combined record of 22-33 (.400, which is 278 points below their overall winning percentage).

Against the decent teams (Iowa, Michigan State), Penn State a combined record of 20-15 (.571, which is 107 points below their overall winning percentage).

Against the crap of the conference (Northwestern, Purdue, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana), Penn State a combined record of 64-16 (.800, which is 122 points higher than their overall winning percentage).

Penn State has always made its reputation by beating up on crappy opponents, and it has been no different since they have joined the Big Ten.

east central florida?

Do these people leave that Appalachian hell hole of theirs in search of the same kind of inbred, backwater hell with more heat and humidity?

For those unfamiliar with the geography of the dick of the USA (aka Florida) take everything bad I described about Florence Nightengales Atlantic Beach......then remove the beach. This is like a giant Cops/People of Walmart episode without even a nasty beach. These fucktards live inland.

The Pedsters are wondering if there will ever be a review of the Freeh Report. University President Barron has been a "liar" ever since he arrived on campus. I do wish there would be a review of the Freeh report by the university president, just so Barron could come out and say that the university reviewed Freeh's report and stands behind Freeh's findings.
